Gretchen Hall, President & CEO, Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau
Gretchen began working at the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) in 2001.  Her career began in the Operations division as an Event Coordinator; she provided leadership within the Little Rock hospitality industry with her work in celebrating the Grand Opening of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park as well as the 50th Anniversary of the Integration of Little Rock Central High School. She later become the Director of Merchandising and Communications and managed the public relations, communications and marketing initiatives. She was named the bureau’s President and CEO in May 2011. As the official destination marketing organization for the City of Little Rock, the LRCVB also manages public meeting facilities including the Statehouse Convention Center, Robinson Center, Ottenheimer Market Hall, First Security Amphitheater, and five downtown public parking facilities. Gretchen serves on the executive committee for Destinations International, the world’s largest resource for official destination organizations, convention and visitors bureaus and tourism boards, and is currently the Chair-Elect for the association. She is also the President of the Heart of Arkansas Regional Tourism Association, past President of the Arkansas Travel Council, past Chair of the Arkansas Association of CVBs, past President of Skål Arkansas, an executive committee member of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, and serves on the board of directors for the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a member of the US Travel Association, Southeast Tourism Society and Little Rock Rotary – Club 99. Gretchen was a scholarship athlete in basketball while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lyon College and later a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is a Certified Meeting Professional and Certified Destination Management Executive.

Shannon Newton, President, Arkansas Trucking Association
Shannon Newton was appointed as president of the Arkansas Trucking Association (ATA) in June of 2014.  Newton has been with the ATA since 2003 and was vice president from 2008-2014. Since joining ATA, Ms. Newton has filled a range of leadership roles with expanded responsibilities in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives including planning, finance, member services, governance, regulatory and legislative affairs, and advocacy. In 2018, she was recognized with the American Trucking Associations’ President’s Trucking Association Executives Council Leadership Award for her regional and national advocacy efforts. Newton was inducted into Arkansas Business’ 40 Under 40 Class of 2016. She has had held a number of association and national industry leadership positions, served on Governor Hutchinson’s Working Group on Highway Funding and spearheaded the legislative effort in 2019 to pass the largest highway funding package to ever pass the Arkansas legislature. Newton is a member of the Trucking Association’s Insurance Council, and a member of the Arkansas Society of Association Executives, Arkansas Society of Professional Lobbyists, and serves on the board of directors and as treasurer for Project Zero, a statewide non-profit organization raising awareness on adoption from foster care.

Drew Weber, Chief Operating Officer & President of Franchising, U.S. Pizza
Drew Weber spent his formative years in Oklahoma and began his career in restaurants as a cook, working to pay his way through college. But he also had a family background in the field: His grandfather worked as a waiter his entire life and loved the business. Weber developed a similar love for restaurants and within two years was a general manager. He moved to Little Rock in 1996 to work at Shorty Small’s restaurant and nine years ago became chief operating officer at U.S Pizza. In those nine years the restaurant has grown to 10 corporate stores and 5 franchises, made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies two years in a row and regularly places in newspapers’ and magazines’ best pizza compilations. Weber is proud of this and he’s proud of overcoming his biggest challenge: confronting a work environment in which the managers, having been promoted from cook or server, couldn’t read a profit and loss statement or cost out a menu item. “Most of those people are still with us and are now great managers,” he said. Weber emphasizes openness and professional betterment for his employees, giving them workday breaks to let them read about the restaurant industry. His management philosophy: “I feel everyone from dishwasher to GM should know how much things cost and how we make our money. Everyone has access to me 24 hours a day.” Weber wants to see U.S. Pizza continue to grow and he also wants to continue to help the community through his service on the boards of Our House and the AR State Chamber of Commerce.
