Generations X, Y, ZWho can keep up?!  One of the most challenging diversity issues an organization faces today are the generational differences in the workplace, and the conflicts that sometimes arise between them. Each generation has different expectations from the workplace. This makes it more difficult for employers to recruit, and retain employees, as well as know which benefits will attract the best candidates. How are Human Resource professionals addressing the different needs of each generation? How is each generation communicating their needs to their employer and to HR?

Join us as we explore these topics and learn answers to these and other questions addressed by an expert panel of HR professionals, as well as employees who represent each generation. This informative meeting will include valuable input from the following panelist; Lin Little, SPHR – Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, John Brower – Simmons First National Bank, Leslie Cloer, SPHR – City of Little Rock, Billy Quinn – Ash Grove Packaging, and Michael Smith, PHR – Bill & Hillary Clinton National Airport. More information is listed below on each of the panelists.

Lin has certification in Meyers-Briggs Temperance Index, Emotional Intelligence and is certified by Hogan Assessment. Billy Quinn attended Harding University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in international business and a minor in spanish.  He continued his graduate studies at Harding University receiving a master’s degree in business administration.  In 2007, he entered the field of human resources and became an Assistant Personnel Manager for the Arkansas Department of Human Services in the Recruitment and Placement Office.  Quinn completed a master’s degree in human resource management and undertook a new position as the Human Resource Manager for Ash Grove Packaging in 2012.  Currently, Quinn is studying for the SPHR exam and is an active member of SHRM and the CAHRA chapter.
