CAHRA dues are payable on an annual basis as follows: $70.00 per year if you are also a member of SHRM. CAHRA only membership dues are $95.00 per year. Dues are paid directly to each of these organizations.

IRC section 162(e)(3) denies taxpayers a deduction for dues paid to exempt organizations to the extent that the organization notifies the taxpayer at the time dues are paid that said dues are allocable to non-deductible lobbying and political expenses. IRC section 6033(e)(1)(A) requires exempt organizations that pay/incur non-deductible lobbying expenses to notify members of its reasonable estimate of the portion of the dues allocated to non-deductible lobbying and political expenses. WCASHRM estimates that for 2009 the portion of your dues allocable to such expenditures will be $0.00. In 2008, the portion of your dues allocated to these expenditures was $0.
