Job Fair

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and the Central Arkansas Human Resources Association present the Fall Job Fair at the Statehouse Convention Center on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM.

The fair brings job seekers and recruiters together in one location on one day. The job market is tough, but the Spring Job Fair is here to help ease this burden on both the seeker and the recruiter.

CAHRA volunteers are what make the job fair a success! 

We have a need for 30 volunteers at the job fair, to help review resumes, anytime between 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Time blocks of 2 hour increments are preferred. 

We also need 8 volunteers to conduct Mock Interviews.  There are two shifts, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. 

In addition, we need 3 volunteers to count attendees at the door. There are three shifts, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Those looking for a job should come prepared. Seekers should bring at least 50 copies of their resume, dress professionally and be well groomed. First impressions do count when looking for a job!
